IFECASA Women in Service
Training, leadership, wellbeing, recognition and regional sisterhood
The IFECASA IWD Women in Service Retreat is a regional platform for women working across fire, emergency response, protection, prevention, risk and resilience. The programme combines professional learning and credentialing with leadership, wellbeing, mentoring, networking, community engagement and recognition.

Why the Programme Matters
Women across protective and preventative services continue to contribute in operational, technical, community and leadership roles. The Women in Service programme helps organisations and regional partners move beyond celebration alone by investing in practical development, recognised learning, wellbeing and pathways for progression.
The Women in Service Journey

The first IFECASA Women in Service Retreat brought together professional development, regional connection, recognition, wellness and engagement with the host service and community. The programme demonstrated the value of a dedicated regional space in which women could share experience, build confidence, develop professional knowledge and celebrate leadership across different countries and services.
